Is the Messenger bag truly waterproof?
Absolutely yes, we use YKK waterproof zippers on all of our products. The same zippers used on dry suits and even space suits. This is then RF welded to our premium TPU and 600D nylon material.
Will the Messenger bag float?
YES we have tested the bag to hold up to 20 pounds of gear and it still floats.
What is the largest size laptop that will fit in the Messenger bag?
There is 10L of storage and the bag will fit up to a 17" laptop along with other gear.
How many storage pockets?
There are 6 pockets to hold a variety of electronics and 2 of the smaller pockets have zippers.
What is the warranty?
All of our products sold over the past 8 years come with a 1 year warranty. We are happy to say some of our customers are still using their waterproof packs launched on our first Kickstarter campaign back in 2015!
When will the rewards ship?
We will be working very hard once the campaign ends to get the rewards to backers in August.
How much does the Messenger bag weigh and what are the dimensions?
The bag is very lightweight weighing just over 1lb. Dimensions are 18" x 14" x 3"
How resistant is the Messenger bag?
The bag is not only 100% waterproof, the materials used are UV, saltwater and chlorine resistant. The 600D nylon backed TPU is rugged and adaptable to all environments.
Is the Messenger bag submersible?
YES it is fully submersible so should it fall into a body of water don't worry if it goes under, it will pop right back up like a bobber!
Does the Messenger bag come with a shoulder strap?
Yes we include an adjustable shoulder strap.
Does the zipper require any maintenance?
While all of our products are relatively maintenance free, we do include a tube of lubricant with instructions to lubricate the "u" shaped docking station from time to time to help with opening and closing the waterproof zipper.
How do I test that my Messenger bag is truly waterproof?
All of our products are DFT (designed for testability), simply fully close the zipper and give your bag a squeeze, if air cannot get out water cannot get in.
