What’s a day on the water without your Samsung phone? But are you worried it might go for a damaging swim? With a ugo™ Signature Collection PHONE 2.0 pouch, you can carry it with confidence, knowing it will be safe from the elements like water, dust and sand.
What’s a ugo™ waterproof pouch? It is a waterproof, zippered, floating pouch for your favorite electronic device. It meets the IP68 standard for protection of electronics, which means it can be submerged for extended periods and keep your Samsung Galaxy safe. But it won’t be submerged for long because it floats!
Water-ski, paddleboard or canoe, knowing your Samsung Galaxy, safe in its ugo™ waterproof pouch, has nothing to fear from the elements. The pouch is resistant to saltwater and pool chlorine. Even if you’re just sitting on the beach, it keeps out dirt, dust and sand.
If you’re actively on the water, you can bring your Galaxy along. Available straps let you wear it when it’s inconvenient to carry it. And you can use the phone – make calls, send texts, make posts – without taking it out of the ugo™ waterproof pouch.
Even if it’s loose in your boat and you tumble into the water, you won’t lose your phone. It will be floating right there on the surface.
The ugo™ waterproof pouch measures 7 ½ x 4 ¾ x 1 ¼, which is big enough not only for your Samsung but also a few extras such as your wallet, your keys and your credit cards.
Sure, most of the modern Galaxies offer some water protection. If you get your phone wet once it will probably be okay. But prolonged exposure to water is not recommended.
The line, which includes the S20 Plus and the S20 Ultra, debuted in March, 2020. The S20 is 5.97 inches by 2.72, the Plus measures 6.37 inches by 2.9 and the Ultra is a larger 6.57 by 2.99. Even the Ultra will fit comfortably inside the PHONE 2.0 pouch with room for a few extras. All meet the IP68 standard for resistance, but that doesn’t mean the sensitive points such as buttons will stand up to water pressure.
The Samsung Note 10 and Note 10 Plus are the stylus versions, first available in August 2019. The Note 10 is 5.94 x 2.83 inches and the Plus is 6.39 x 3.04. Stylus and all will fit handily into your ugo wear pouch with room to spare for some cash or credit cards. While these carry the IP68 rating, they’re not guaranteed against water damage. It’s best to use a ugo™!
The previous version, released in August of 2018, was the Galaxy Note 9, which measures 6.37 x 3.01 inches. It also has the IP68 rating with the same warranty restrictions.
These models preceded the S20 and came out in March of 2019. The S10 is 5.9 inches by 2.77, the S10 Plus checks in at 6.2 by 2.92, and the more compact S10 E measures 5.59 by 2.75. They also carry the IP68 rating but are not advised for beach or pool use.
It was introduced in March of 2018, along with the S9 Plus. The S9 measures 5.81 by 2.7 and the Plus is 6.22 by 2.9, so even the larger of the two readily fits into the ugo wear phone pouch. They also meet the IP68 standard but still are designed for only limited exposure to water.
It has no water resistance at all, as it was developed as a bargain model. It’s been around since December, 2019, and measures 6.24 inches by 2.9.
Many Samsung phones will survive some water, but, unlike the ugo™pouches, they aren’t really designed to get dunked. Pressure and time render them vulnerable to drenching.
The ugo™ PHONE 2.0 offers more than just extra water resistance. It floats. It straps on your body and goes anywhere. The patented zipper and the RF welded seams keep water out the way the Galaxy can’t on its own.
When you’re out on the water, don’t worry about your Samsung. Carry a ugo™ pouch and, whether you wear it or throw it in the boat, enjoy your favorite pastime with confidence.
